Moreover, the way nature let you step away from all the chaos of the cities world as this area is still so far from network connections and this will lead you to a most needed social detox of your life. My vocab can't express you the connection I felt with nature and the present moments, rather a typing conversation like in our daily life we had a real talk with tourist and the villagers realising what a drastic different way of living each of us have and how people of Rumbak have lived such a simple and peaceful life where they even shows much concerns about animals and earth as well.
The smell of Ladakhi cuisine that achey chamba has served us carry a different level of appetite, all organic straight from their kitchen garden, a barley soup called thugpa, momos, chuptse, skyu, timog I can feel the saliva in my mouth now, their cuisine is always more incline towards a simple way of cooking neither more spice nor oily just the exact taste that our tongue asks for.
They don't have a tap water in kitchen like us, they fetch water from a distance every time but they don't carry a frustrations wrinkle like we do at every small problems, nevertheless, looking over their animals, feeding, caring and cooing at them like they are their own kids, what a heartwarming way of fostering love towards an animal, this place surely has lot to teach.
The coexistence between humans and snow leopard in this region is a remarkable example of community- based conservation.
